Call for paper
1. Abstract Submission

Abstracts must be submitted in English and must not exceed 300 words. The scientific committee will thoroughly review all submissions.

The committee will assess abstracts and choose submissions for either oral or poster presentation based on their merit. The summit organizing committee retains the discretion to select papers and posters for presentation.

Authors will be notified of the acceptance and presentation mode through E-mail.
2. Poster Presentation

The organizing committee of the SPIn2024 considers poster and oral presentations equal in all respects.

All participants are encouraged to present a poster. Take the opportunity to engage with attendees by periodically discussing your poster during coffee breaks.

3. Paper submission
For the 2024 IEEE SPIn, Microsoft CMT serves as the submission platform. Follow the steps outlined below to establish an account and submit your paper:
- To access the 2024 IEEE SPIn paper submission page on Microsoft CMT, kindly click here.
- Complete the mandatory fields on the submission page. Additionally, you have the option to include details about contributing authors during this stage.
- Once you click "Submit," your submission will be forwarded to the technical committee of IEEE SPIn 2024 for review.
- Only English is allowed as the language for paper submissions.
All submitted papers will undergo a thorough double-blind peer-review process conducted by a distinguished panel of experts, upholding the highest academic and technical standards.
Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements" and will be submitted for evaluation to reputable databases, including Web of Science, SCOPUS, INSPEC, WTI Frankfurt eG, zbMATH, and SCImago.
- Submissions are expected to adhere to the IEEE paper template. The IEEE employs a double-blind reviewing process to uphold principles of fairness, diversity, and inclusion in the evaluation of submissions. Authors are required to refrain from including their names in submissions and should make a conscientious effort to anonymize both the paper and any supplementary materials (such as code or data). Papers that violate the principles of double-blind reviewing will not be considered for review.
- From IEEE Template Selector, chose “Conferences” and then “Original Research”.
- The paper for IEEE SPIn 2024 should be limited to a maximum of 5 pages, encompassing all content such as figures, results, text, and references.
- Please respect the IEEE Template and submit directly a fulltext paper.
- References must be in IEEE format.
- Following acceptance, it is mandatory for at least ONE author to register for the conference. All accepted final papers will be presented during oral sessions.
Authors are instructed NOT to include their names or affiliations in the manuscript to facilitate a blind review process. The submission should consist of a 5 pages, double-columned paper, commencing with the abstract and concluding with the references. Ensure that the submission is made by the specified paper submission deadline as provide below.
Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.
